Andy joined the company as Head of New Product Delivery in 2012 before becoming Vice President, Customer Service & Operations in 2013 and taking up his current role in 2017.
He is responsible for all of SmartestEnergy’s I&C Supply commercial and operational activities including all related ‘route to market’ products and services.
Before SmartestEnergy he was a Senior Manager at Ofgem working on Distribution Network Policy and Assistant Director at DECC on Distributed Energy & Heat, having been involved in delivery of a range of energy policies, strategies and legislation across Government. He is a graduate in Marine Geography from the University of Wales Cardiff.
Dan joined SmartestEnergy in 2008 as a Key Account Manager before becoming Head of Channel Sales and taking up his current role in 2017.
He is responsible for all commercial activities and sales strategy related to SmartestEnergy’s power supply business and manages commercial teams across business development, account management and sales operations.
Prior to SmartestEnergy, Dan worked at EIC, an energy consultancy, in several roles including Business Development Manager and Account Management.Connect on LinkedIn
Michael joined SmartestEnergy in 2017 and is a key member of the I&C Supply team.
He is primarily responsible for identifying and developing strategic sales opportunities and promoting SmartestEnergy’s products to I&C users.
Before joining SmartestEnergy Michael held a similar role with ENGIE Energy Solutions.
His career in the industry has also included positions with Haven Power, Shell Gas Direct and Gaz de France.
Michael has an MA Business Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University, Toronto and a BA Economics from the University of Essex.
Nicolas is responsible for key commercial activities such as deal structuring and new proposition development relating to SmartestEnergy’s power supply business.
He has significant experience of structuring bespoke commercial supply contracts and a strong track record of working with multi-site customers and large intensive users.
Nicolas joined SmartestEnergy from British Gas and previously worked for a number of other I&C energy suppliers in the UK and in France in various roles including key account management and European sales, pricing and commercial structuring. He was the commercial lead for the largest electricity supply contract ever awarded to an I&C energy supplier in the UK.
Robin joined SmartestEnergy in 2011 as a Key Account Manager before taking the role of Key Accounts Team Manager in 2013. In this role Robin is responsible for the overall management of SmartestEnergy’s strategic Retail and Generation customers.
Robin is a qualified Electrical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, having previously held various roles in contracting, sales and marketing, I & C account management and team management at Eastern Electricity, TXU and E.on.
Mark joined SmartestEnergy in 2014 as a Key Account Manager. In this role Mark is responsible for the management of SmartestEnergy’s strategic Retail and Generation customers.
Before commencing his role at SmartestEnergy Mark was Account Director at Inenco, raising their profile in the elite £10m+ energy spend market. Mark studied Geography at Birmingham University and has previously held roles with E.on, Corona Energy, Shell Gas and British Gas.
Rob joined SmartestEnergy in April 2016 as a Sales Support Executive before taking up his current role in 2017.
He is responsible for account management of a number of key account customers, providing bespoke reporting to meet individual customer requirements and exploring opportunities to add value to supply contracts.
Before joining SmartestEnergy, Rob worked in UK Top 40 accountancy practice Larking Gowen’s corporate department where his responsibilities included completing audits for a number of clients.
